You’ll scream, screech, gasp, cough wheeze, and, well…hopefully it’s just a common cold and it’ll be done in a couple days. One of the best ways to determine whether it is a common cold? After you’ve done the requisite diagnosis, grabbed some vitamin C, and little DayQuil — THEN check out this gallery of the weirdest, wildest, wackiest and just plain BEST pandemic horror posters ever created! These posters are infected so wash your hands after you’ve touched this gang of impurity!
Once again Hollyweird cranked up the almighty money-making hype machine and got to work on some very fine artistry. While it's got to be more and more difficult for graphic designers to cram all of the fear, fright, and gore on to an iPhone screen, designers have not yet thrown in the towel!
Already hailed as the scariest movie of 2024, the much anticipated Longlegs will be released theatrically on July 12. The trailer spoils nothing but sets an ominous tone for what will come.
1/2★ out of ★★★★★ A poster that promises so much for a film that gives so little. The movie sucks. The poster rocks! Hats off to MGM for a marketing effort on a movie this lousy.
The almighty George Romero has a new movie coming out in June 2021! Wait, hasn't he been dead since 2017!?!? Indeed he has, but that doesn't mean that he didn't create a mountain of content never before seen by human eyes. In the same way that Prince will be releasing albums well in to the next century, Romero may have some additional gems that have never made their way out of the crypt. Until now!
As we've already opined aplenty, 2024 was something of a bell curve year. Lots of horror films fell right in the middle. Not too hot and not too cold. Just moderate chills with a hint of terror. Turns out the graphic designers and the studios were largely on the same trajectory with with their fav' hype tool -- the HORROR MOVIE POSTER! Some good, some bad, but a whole lot of them parked smack-dab in the middle of the spooky bell curve.
