Can there ever be too much gore? Too many guts? Too much depravity? Rest assured Damien Leone and crew will be back to answer these questions and take us on another tortured-filled adventure with Art the Clown.
For those of you that haven’t been paying attention, Art the Clown and the Terrifier franchise have been one of the most profitable horror film series to hit the streets since the Blair Witch. Art with his freaky gesticulations, buckets and buckets of intestines, and seemingly never ending misery, will be back for more in 2024.
This Ed Gein inspired artwork, courtesy of Uncle Frank Productions, is a sight to behold. Unsettling, unabashed, and taking a jab at the most sacred of all holidays. Step aside, Silent Night, Deadly Night, Christmas is about to get really gross.
Art left us with some wildly unanswered questions in 2022, but we may very well be getting some answers next Halloween. Scheduled to drop somehwere around the release of Smile 2 and The Exorcist: Deceiver, the second in the David Gordon Green series.
No matter the release date, it’s fair to say that these intrepid horror podcasters will be there to dish on Art’s horrible next moves. We’re fairly certain he tore apart every possible organ in 2022’s Terrifier 2, but maybe there’s a couple he didn’t get to chop at. In the meantime, we’ll just have to savor this deeply inspired Christmas horror show.
