Trailer Alerts! THE BAD SHEPHERD and NYCTOPHOBIA

U.K. fright-fare fanatics, we have the trailers for two horror films headed your way in April. Following are the official press announcements.

The Bad Shepherd

Herd in the horror as The Bad Shepherd is set to bring sheer terror to your screen. This pulse-pounding supernatural survival thriller from director Geo Santini (After the Reign) is set for its UK debut on 22 April courtesy of Scatena & Rosner Films.

A friends’ hunting trip turns dark and deadly when they accidentally run over a woman in the wilderness and discover she’s already been shot and is holding a bag full of cash. Fuelled by guilt and paranoia, the group must decide what to do with the body — and the money. As bad decisions mount, they also realise they’re being followed; the owner of the dough is hot on their trail, determined to reclaim it by any means necessary. For a tale of twists, turns and trouble, follow The Bad Shepherd.

On UK digital 22 April from Scatena & Rosner Films.

Fangoria! Woo!

Nyctophobia

Be afraid of the dark, where evil lurks in nerve-jangler Nyctophobia. This terrifying tale is  exec-produced by the legend that is Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA (Kill Bill: Vol. 1; American  Gangster) and stars hugely talented twin sister sensations Emmy-winning® Chiara  D’Ambrosio (High Heat, The Young and the Restless) and two-time Emmy nominated®  Bianca D’Ambrosio (Call Jane).

Directed by Kim Noonan in his feature debut, the film is set for its digital release on 22  April, courtesy of Miracle Media.

Twins Rose and Azalea (Chiara and Bianca D’Ambrosio) and their friend Brooks (BJ Tanner, Lethal Weapon; The Orville) are celebrating their high school graduation but it’s not long  before partying turns to panic. Plunged into darkness by a sudden blackout, they soon realise that loss of light is the least of their worries: they’re being hunted by supernatural  monsters.

Alone, afraid and surrounded by nightfall, their only hope for survival comes from the light  of their mobile phones. But can it save them?

If you weren’t scared of the dark, you will be now with Nyctophobia.

On UK digital 22 April from Miracle Media.
