Strange Creatures screened at Portland Horror Film Festival and more than 50 other film festivals, including genre favorites such as Brooklyn Horror, Panic Fest, Chattanooga, and FilmQuest, and Oscar-qualifiers like HollyShorts, Florida, and Nashville as well as winning awards at HorrorFest and Terror on the Plains.
Synopsis
Desperate to see her brother again, a young woman visits the site of his death. Written and directed by Nicholas Payne Santos, starring Quinn Jackson (It Cuts Deep), Sean-Michael Wilkinson (American Horror Story), Christine Nyland (An Unquiet Grave).
About the writer/director
Nicholas Payne Santos is a bi-racial (Black/white) filmmaker based in NYC. Nicholas’ feature directorial debut IT CUTS DEEP was released by Dark Sky Films in 2020. It made its World Premiere at Nightstream. The film is currently on Tubi and was previously on Showtime and Shudder. Santos’ short films MOTHER F**KER and HOLIDAY FEAR were both picked up for streaming by Arrow in 2021.
