Womp Stomp Films — makers of the astounding Friday the 13th fan film, Never Hike Alone (2017) — have their very first original short film hitting the festivals this year.
I love me some Womp Stomp! Their initial addition to the F13 universe, Never Hike Alone (2017), is a thing of beauty. It’s also free! If you haven’t watched it yet, do yourself a favor and fix that right now.
The studio recently ran another successful crowdfunding campaign for the next film in their Friday the 13th fan series, Never Hike in the Snow (2020). That one’s in post-production as we speak and is slated for release this year. We’ll for sure let you know as soon as we see that one hit the YouTubes. It’s gonna be great!

Today, though, the magic makers at Womp Stomp have released a teaser trailer for their very first original short film. It’s called Pathosis and it will be hitting the festival circuit this year. Check this out…
Written and directed by visual artist turned first time helmsman Austin Bonang, Womp Stomp describes their new production as:
Pathosis is a 13-minute short horror film starring Luciana Faulhaber [The Girl Who Invented Kissing (2017)] as Sam, a young woman plagued by a mental disorder who must struggle between fighting her disease and the troublesome side effects of her medication.
Apparently, at least one of those side effects is a mighty creepy lookin’ monster.
