1/2★ out of ★★★★★ A poster that promises so much for a film that gives so little. The movie sucks. The poster rocks! Hats off to MGM for a marketing effort on a movie this lousy.

A Heady tale of brotherly bonds strained by the allure and menace of surviving a UFO death cult.

★★★★1/2 out of ★★★★★ An ambitious Sci-fi action thriller that learns all the right lessons from its precedent source material.  Upgrade is what the Robocop reboot should have been. It's a smart, violent, and kinetic parable of the risks of merging flesh with technology.
★★★★★ out of ★★★★★ A stunning horror film debut from Ari Aster, who has delivered a terrifying tale of the disintegration of a family's collective psyche, and the treachery of a matriarch that lasts long after she has died. Oscar. Worthy.
★★★1/2 out of ★★★★★ FUN!  This movie is pure dumb fun.  And, I mean dumb in a loving way. This is Egerton's tribute to the zanies that are horror movie fans.  We're a little obsessive.
★★★★1/2 out of  ★★★★★ Now streaming on Netflix! A 1950's tale of a desperate young pregnant woman who makes a costly decision to join a convent as a refuge of last resort.  It might be the best scary nun movie you'll see! (And yes, I know what that means.)

Intensity:🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸 It doesn't get much rougher than this

A hillbilly cannibal horror tale... and that should give you some clues about how this goes down.  This is a hard watch.

Grindhouse meets the French New Wave in this oddball dark horror comedy about a sociopathic automobile tire that kills people with psychokinetic powers. Didn't see that coming, did you?
★★ out of ★★★★★ Ok, I gotta get something off my chest.  I saw the trailer for this beauty back in 1985 and was so horrified by its content I could have sworn that I’d seen the whole film -- front to back.  This was some seriously dense scar tissue built up over the years.  But alas, I’d never seen this flic.  That was, until a couple weeks ago.
★1/2 out of ★★★★★ This is what passed for mid-budget horror in 2000.  A fine premise is completely undone by cliches and a bevy of poorly rendered characters making terrible decisions.
