André Øvredal is back!

One of our favorite directors, André Øvredal, is back again with more genre goodness. Passenger is reportedly chock full of body horror, psychological weirdness, and a relentless demon. Everything an eager horror fan needs!
Written by Zachary Donohue and T.W. Burgess, Passenger follows a young couple, Maddie (Lou Llobell) and Tyler (Jacob Scipio), just a few weeks into their “van life” adventure. The roadtrippers witness a grisly car accident which leaves the driver dead and soon find themselves being hunted by a demonic presence known as The Passenger.
Øvredal himself is calling it his scariest movie yet and has deliberately changed up his directorial methodology for this one. He’s also specifically said that his favorite scenes from the film are not shown in the trailer. No spoilers!
As an added bonus, the whole thing was shot in Washington state. That’s practically in The Scariest Things’ backyard!
Passenger is set for a theatrical release on May 22nd. Mark those calendars!
