We’re very lucky to have acclaimed Hellboy comic writer and editor, Scott Allie, providing his top 25 ballot!  And, there’s something oddly familiar about his top pick. Where have we seen this before?  So, horror… or not?  Hmmmmm.

What makes YOU an expert? As in, tell us a little about yourself — what you do, current projects, links to your website, info about your recent film. Whatever you’d like. Go crazy! :

Scott: Award-winning editor and writer of horror comics including Hellboy.

Always hard to put favorites in any kind of order. These are not in the order of most scary, but they are movies that scare me, mostly in the order I’m most likely to watch them again.

TST Editorial: For Apocalypse now… just remember Kurtz’s dying words “The horror, the horror.”  So… tangentially a “horror” movie? Ah, probably not!  Also, so glad to see Night of the Hunter on the list!  I will claim that is definitely a horror film.  And, of all the David Lynch films, Eraserhead is undeniably a horror film as well.
