This is a grisly (not grizzly... the bear is a black bear) romp through the forest, amped up with narcotics and has some wildly entertaining moments. Elizabeth Banks continues her transformation from in front of the camera star to behind the camera, and she hit the comedic and gory tone just right with Cocaine Bear.
Lions and lions and lions, oh my! Idris Elba plays a recently widowed doctor who is taking his daughters on a safari. A massive and bloodthirsty lion, bent on revenge for poachers hunting him, has turned his eyes on Elba and his family in the first Lion themed survival Horror movie in many years. Straight outta the Pacific Northwest comes another joint from the same team that brought you 2018’s Big Legend. A far more daring, if not a little less linear, than their first outing with Bigfoot, 2021’s The Stairs is a complex bit of business wrapped up in a cautionary camping tale.

It's all fun and games until you have to draw straws to determine who becomes the sacrifice in a lifeboat dilemma. Harpoon is a savage look at a love triangle gone completely haywire and lost at sea.

A survival tale that feels so honest and voyeuristic that it becomes hard to watch. A low-budget hall of fame film.

As if surviving a hurricane isn't scary enough, now there are alligators camping in the basement in your flooded house. Worst case scenario x2 in this Alexandre Aja and Sam Raimi production.
