Love ‘im or hate ‘im, Rob Zombie is back for more in the latest installment of groady, gruesome, grindhouse gore. Three from Hell just released a trailer, but weirdly the release date is yet to be determined. That sort of has a “this film wasn’t available to be screened for film reviewers” vibe that very rarely portends great things to come.
Like all his films, Rob Zomie does a masterful job of casting well known grindhouse celebrities in a gooey malange of grisly malfeasance. Three from Hell is no exception. This one’s got Clint Howard, Bill Mosely, Danny Trejo, Sid Haig, Austin Stoker, Chaz Bono, and of course, Sherri Moon Zombie as…uh..hem…Baby Firefly.
At this point in the Rob Zombie story arch, it’s fair to say, you pretty well know what you’re going to get. In fact, we know it so well, that they no longer even bother with a film description. All they’re giving us for 3 from Hell is that it is “…a sequel to the Devil’s Rejects.” Thanks for that bit of stellar insight…
