The woman who inspired me to podcast, and Podcaster for Starchitects, Roberta Pennington reveals her chills (very chilly) and thrills with her version of the Top 25 Horror Movies.

I am a commercial interior designer in the Portland, Oregon metro area, and my first degree is in set design for theatre. I love storytelling in all shapes and forms and I find the horror genre to be the type of storytelling that sticks with me. late at night, when I’m alone, or the dog stares at a wall funny, I imagine the worst: bloody demon spirit hell-bent on taking my soul to the underworld with him…. like people do….

I haven’t seen much for recent horror flicks as a toddler limits what we watch before bedtime…. does “Dora the Explorer” count as horror? I mean, she screams throughout the show and is hounded by the wraith-like swiper….

I host a podcast as well: starchitects: the podcast. it’s a comedy podcast about architecture and design where I and two of my funny friends watch a movie about/ with architecture with a rotating guest from the industry and figure out fact versus fiction.

Comments? Concerns? Cuss words? : My father once challenged his co-workers: conjugate “mother fucker” into a noun, verb, and an adjective. he stumped them all with this response: mother fuck you, mother fucking mother fuck. dad = #1
