Holy Beelzebub! The official/official trailer for The Conjuring III, AKA The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do it, is finally here!
Complete with devils, god, witches, the Warrens, and waterbeds — which were a thing in 1981, trust us — this trailer has it all.
After a somewhat meager showing in 2018’s The Nun, we’ve been hoping that the Conjuring-universe is able to right the ship and get the scares back on track. The newly minted trailer gives us great hope that The Conjuring III is just the thing to bring (non-Covid) scares back in to the theater.
Directed by Michael Chaves (The Curse of La Llorona and the Maiden), the Conjuring III follows the well-trod path of Arne Cheyenne Johnson who was the first person in U.S. history to try and use demonic possession as his defense for…MURDER!
Chaves and writer James Wan take the Warrens on a devilish thrill ride as they pick apart the mystery of Arne Cheyenne Johnson and his fiendish malfeasance. Conjuring III is coming your way on June 4. If you’re lucky enough to have your Covid shot by then you can peep the whole spook show in your local theater!
Until then, sit back and enjoy the chills in this terrifying new trailer!
