The Scariest Things had the good fortune at Wizard World Portland to get a quick interview with Xander Harris himself, Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Nicholas Brendon. As a bonus, Nicholas even sang for us!
Xander was the endearing everyman in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The stalwart, brave companion, and comic relief. Some of his best moments on the show were from “The Inca Mummy”, “Teachers’ Pet”, “Halloween”, “Hush” (A Classic!), “Grave” (Where he saves Willow), and the
Nicholas Brendon joined Eric and our guest host Gwen Callahan from the Portland Horror Film Festival to talk about his seven seasons on the show. (For which he had to correct me… ack!) He discusses how he got on the show and was refreshingly open and frank about his life since the show. Plus, he sang some of “I’ll never Tell”! A recommendation for fans, if you want a real treat, and you find a convention where he is doing a karaoke show, you should absolutely take him up on it. Why do a simple autograph signing when you can get an honest-to-God celebrity experience? I think it was only $60, which is a total steal for something like this.
Thanks again to Max Federman and Jerry
