The Scariest Things Podcast Extra: Immortal Macabre

Scary DVDs! Woo!

Explosive parasite infections!  A child killer who wears the scalps of her victims!  And a tale of romantic betrayal and shallow live burials!  Or, in other words, just another day keeping Portland weird.

We’ve got a special guest for a Podcast Extra! This evening we are joined by Danny Gosser, the writer and producer of the upcoming horror anthology, Immortal Macabre, which is in the final days of its Kickstarter campaign.  For a little Portland Indie horror production, Danny has assembled a potent team of collaborators, including a terrific effects and makeup team, a classical composer, and a number of Portland’s veteran film talent.  You can also see all the bios on the Immortal Macabre Kickstarter site.

UPDATE: 10/20/18: Congratulations to Danny Gosser for successfully achieving his Kickstarter goals!  Thank you to all who contributed from the Scariest Things community!

At the risk of sounding like a PBS telethon, The Scariest Things encourages, particularly our Portland-based fan community, to take a look at what Danny and his producer Shane Antisdel are trying to achieve.  Having been to several film festivals now, I know what the cost of these film productions can be, and Immortal Macabre is more than halfway there, but it is coming down to the wire, time-wise. The Kickstarter campaign ends on Friday, October 19.  So, if you’re feeling generous, there’s your timer.

I know I caught your attention with the notion of explosive parasitic infections, right?  C’mon, you know you want to see it!
