Satanists love pizza, too.

Freshly resurrected Fangoria Films’ next feature has just secured itself a helmswoman. Chelsea Stardust will be directing their new horror/comedy, Satanic Panic.

Stardust began her directing career with a number of short films for Crypt TV after working for producer Jason Blum for several years. She recently wrapped production on her feature-length directorial debut, All That We Destroy, which was penned by James Agnew and Sean Keller.

Written by Mohawk (2017) writers Grady Hendrix and Ted Geoghegan, Satanic Panic tells the tale of a down and out pizza delivery girl who’s forced to fight for more than just her tips when her last delivery of the night turns out to be to a bunch of rich Satanists looking for a virgin sacrifice. With production efforts being shared between Fangoria (Cinestate’s Dallas Sonnier & Amanda Presmyk) and Aperture Entertainment (Adam Goldworm), casting for this new frightfest has already begun and principal photography is scheduled for October in North Texas.

Producer Dallas Sonnier had this to say about their new director:

Our movie screams for a female director’s vision, and we had a blast getting to know several truly talented candidates. With Chelsea at the helm, I feel strongly that we have a future horror comedy classic on our hands that will be celebrated by Fangoria audiences who crave wickedly entertaining, boundary-pushing movies.

Stay tuned, Scariest Readers! As soon as we hear more info about this new project, we’ll let you know!
