Fangoria! Woo!

Iä! Iä! Andrew Migliore, the man who created the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival comes in with an unutterable and squamous top 25 horror movie list.  AIIIEEE!!!

Author of Lurker in the Lobby: The Guide to the Cinema of H.P. Lovecraft, associate producer of and founder of the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival. Past panelist regarding Cosmic Horror at World Horror Convention, Fangoria, ComicCon, WesterCon, and NecronomiCon.

These lists are hard to do because what facet of horror do you focus on? Supernatural horror? Cosmic Horror? Other? For example the man vs. man genre e.g. simple serial killer films I consider to be “Terror” films not horror. Horror to me is something more cerebral where there is a journey and a realization of the “horror” and our relationship as humans to it. For example, Jaws is a great film but I think it is more action and terror than horror. So there you have it.
