Look out! The fishpocalypse is a-comin’!
Thanks to Samuel Goldwyn Films acquiring the North American distribution rights, Xavier Gens’ Cold Skin will be getting a day-and-date release June 1st!
Based on the book of the same name written by Albert Sánchez Piñol, Cold Skin tells the tale of an Irish meteorologist, Friend (David Oakes), who’s been sent to a remote island weather station to monitor wind patterns. On this island, he meets the mean-spirited lighthouse keeper, Gruner (Ray Stevenson), who knows more about the island than he’s telling. As night falls and strange creatures appear from out of the ocean, Friend realizes there’s a lot more to worry about than studying wind patterns.
