Horror Movie News: Jordan Peele Considering a Sequel to Get Out

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

It was inevitable.  Get Out, the most acclaimed horror movie of the past 20 years is probably going to get a sequel.  I’m not really sure where they will go with the plot, as the movie was such a good stand-alone.  Would he go back to Chris’ story?  Did Rose survive?  Some movies, like Psycho, Don’t Breathe, The Shining, and The Sixth Sense really are self contained films, and don’t need a sequel.  (The tried with Psycho II, and failed.)I kind of think that Get Out also should be left alone, but there is soooooo much money on the table.  And, Peele has proven to be a master story teller, so I guess I’d have to give him the benefit of the doubt.
